average to slightly above reliability (CR)
top 2-5 safety rating of all cars sold in the US (IIHS, NHTSA)
uninspiring appearance and drive. very comfortable. exceptionally roomy. one of the largest trunks in the industry.

l drove Sable is for years, but do not like the looks of the new ones so did not buy another Sable. But if you like the looks of the car go for it as l still think they are good cars.

It is supposed to b very reliable and is the safest sedan, along with the Taurus, in America. But along with the Taurus, it has very bland and forgetful style that cannot compete against the competition. That is why I've only seen one Sable and about 4 Taurus is since they came out.
