l ran a wire from the battery to the blower and the blower works fine.l checked the voltage at the connector to the blower and there is none.l checked the 40 amp fuse and it is fine.Is there something I am missing?

did u check and c if that plug on the fuse box is pushing any juice to the blower at all. check all the wires and make sure none of them are rusted loose or damages to short out.

Replace the blower switch.

Maybe the switch has gone bad or has come lose check it out and see ,Its not hard to fix . hope this helps,

The blower is supposed to have constant power and is grounded by the switch. Usually you can pull and tug on the blower motor wires with the key on and it would come to life. This is a bad connector at the blower. Pierce the orange wire a few inches from the connector to test it for power. if it does not have power and the vehicle is equipped with auto temp control,, the Blower Speed Controller Module may be at fault.
