Take it to a Certified A/C Specialist and have them check for leaks. Then drain and refill should be good to go.

I've worked on a lot of these, they r actually a Nissan Quest. It needs a control head, they cost around $500 dollars at the dealership. l am a Lincoln/Mercury tech at a dealership, and I've replaced probably 100 of these control heads in the Villagers. l woul'nt fix it if it was me.I've actually fixed a couple of these control heads for my friends, what happens is a resister burns up inside the control head assy.So u have to take it apart & replace it. OOPS!!, l thought u question had to do the the rear A/C not working.Check the cycling switch on the low side pressure line.It is around $30 bucks if u buy it yourself at a parts store,it just screws on & off.You can do this yourself.
