They should not be, they are engineered. they do not just squeeze fish into a bottle, they process them and engineer them in a factory/pharmacy.

No only the fish have mercury the store bought fish capsules on the other hand or mercury-free.

While essential fatty acid/Omega 3 supplements r not regulated by the FDA l would not be too terribly worried about mercury contamination. Purity does vary from brand to brand but they all go through a pretty extensive refinement process.

If u r concerned but still want to supplement ur diet with omega-3 then consider taking a flax seed based supplement instead. It is actually a better source of Omega 3 is than the fish oil as our body absorbs it more thoroughly.

No they should all be mercury free, but of course many are produced in non FDA approved labs. If they are cheap they are cheap for a reason.

l get my Omega 3 from the website below. Produced in FDA approved labs.
