it can be very dangerous. take the vehicle to a repair shop and have them ck it out to see if you need to be replaced or if they can lube them. ford had non lube ball joints on this vehicle from the factory. if they replace them then you will have grease zirts so that they can be lubed. also have an alignment done when they replace them.

Yes it is .. if you hit a pothole, your strut would get out of place and you can crash the car !
