l have a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and l need a hub cap replacement.When l called the dealership they said it was going to cost over $100 and l just thought that was ridiculous so l turned to the internet.l have found after market replica hubcaps that are $25 and OEM(factory) hubcaps that are $75, but they look identical.l was wondering if someone could tell me what the difference is between the replicas and the OEMs because as far as looks they look the same online.Thank you!

the after market ones are cheap and break easily. your best bet is go to a junkyard or salvage yard you should be able to get a good factory used one for $5
