Go to NADA.com and enter the info about the car. It will give you a price range. Look under the classic catagory

From how it sounds too me, l would not pay more than 5,000 for it. Honestly though, it all depends on the stuff u have not said. If it is the original engine, has it been rebuilt? If not then u will probably have to replace it or rebuilt it sometime in the near future. Same story on the transmission. If items like that have been taken care of then it justify a higher asking price. Unfortunately going rate kind of depends on a lot of things. If he is selling the only one in the state he can charge almost whatever he wants for it. NADA, is a good place to look. Also look at places like eBay, & classic car trader & online classifieds to see what the going price is on them around the country. If his is in better condition than most, it justifies a 10-15% higher price. If not then it is the other way around.
