l bought a used '05 Mercury Sable w/ 44K miles.The heated seats do not work.The light on the switch does not even come on.
There is nothing in the manuel about heated seats.Any ideas?l do not even know what fuse it is in the fuse box and l do not wanna pull and check each one.
l have just checked all the existing fuses, and they are fine.
There are quite a bit of fuse ''slots'' that are not being used and the owners manuel lists those as ''not used.''My guess is, and I am hoping, that the previous owner pulled the fuse for the seats and never replaced it.l just do not know which slot it would be.

Sorry, pull and check each one. Typically heated seats are on their own circuit. l would start by pulling the 15amp (Blue) and the 20amp (yellow) fuses 1st as those are the typical amperage of heated seats. Good luck!
