l got the car back in June from some guy who just had it in front of his house with the for sale sign and he did not know the code either.
Is there a way to reset it? or find out what it is?

Are you talking about the door code entry. l have no idea. Maybe try taken the battery apart and touch the negative connection to the positive connection for a few seconds. l am not talking about touching the actual battery together, just the wires coming from the car. Then reconnect the battery. It resets some things put im not sure what.

It can not be changed, but it is on the car somewhere, usually on the back of the door lock module, It is usually behind one of the rear panels..
