The transmission fluid level is coming up fine but, whenever the outside temperature gets below freezing, we're having to wait up to 30 minutes until the shifter will let us out of park. Any ideas?

|
the solenoid on the shifter lock has some liquid that spilled through the console that is making it bind and freeze would be my first guess. Spray WD40 with a straw into and around the shifter, inside the console. Also spray around the transmission linkage under hood, then work the shifter until it frees up.
