l have a 2005 MERCURY MOUNTAINEER 17-INCH AWD l wanna know which are the best all weather tires? my tire size is 245 r 17...i was looking at bf goodrich all weather tires

Pirelli makes a nice all-terrain all weather 245-65/R17 tyhat is priced less than Goodrich. Other competitrive brands include Kumho, Continental, Michelin, Frestone and Bridgestone.

just changed 4 tires on my 2004 mountaineer and put on goodyear triple tred tires. got them at the sam is club here. they have to be put on in one direction only (uni-directional tires). so far they are excellent in the rain and have yet to try them out in the snow. my goodrich tires dry rotted at 50,000 miles and lost most of its tred.
