Like the transmission gives out after 50,000 miles, the paint melts in the rain, bad design features, etc.

Since u r asking about 2 completely different models, that have gone through many design changes over the years, l am not sure what exactly u r in search of.
l have not seen any major design flaws nor have l ever seen a factory paint job melt in the rain, nor have l seen inherent transmission problems with either of these models.
