the stock radio in my car works fine except every once in a while it will turn off randomly. then like couple days later it comes back on. could it be the fuse? l havent figured out why it turns off. like its just like in the middle of going somehwere then all the sudden, no music. it kinda sucks when you deliver pizzas and your driving in silence and hope l stop next to someone bumping some good shit. so if you know how to solve this please anwser back. THANKS

It has a short in it somewhere. It ether needs rewired or replaced. Check the fuse first just in case.

You need to remove and take it to a TV and radio repairman, It may have short in it when it gets hot it turns off, hope this helps.

Most tv repair men wo not touch this radio as no information on them is out there anymore.

The Ford dealer will charge too much to fix the radio, so unless u r attached to it, can it & get a good aftermarket radio..

One thing also, if it is like a focus & has a removable key pad on the radio (2-5 can be removed by pushing a button) clean the contacts & the radio contacts after removal with a pencil eraser & reinstall.. had a few go intermittent on me like that.
