How many mpg can you get out of the Mercury Marauder

The city it depends on how you drive, if you drive with a heavy foot I'd expect about 14ish, if you drive w/o a heavy foot you should be able to get 16. Highway depending on the speed and type of fuel and also how well you take care of your car you can get between 22-26.

My 2002 Grand Marquis is 17 city 26 hwy, but l have a 235 hp motor, Marauders have 310 hp so you can expect a little less mpg, say around 15 & 24, but not bad considering the overall weight and horsepower.

If you drive normally no fast starts keep tire pressure correct and keep the maintenance up you will improve gas mileage , hope this helps.

l own both a Marauder & a Grand Marquis & can tell u that the fuel economy is not similar. First, the Marauder is the sport version of the Grand Marquis (like the Police Interceptor or Crown Vic Sport). That alone says a lot. Bigger tires, duel exhaust, heavier transmission & more horsepower= less MPG. l can get around 15 mpg (average; 18 highest, 13 lowest) in city-like driving & around 21(average; 23 highest, 18 lowest) on the highway. The Grand Marquis, gets 17 mpg city (average; 20 highest, 16 lowest) & 23 highway (average; 25 highest, 20 lowest). It all depends on how u drive it. Word to the wise, it does not help if u have a lead foot in either case. Practice normal acceleration & stopping. The usual gas saving advice works. Try it. Also, if u have higher mileage on it, u might want to try out a fuel system cleaner additive such as Gum Out or STP. They do help to clean up the fuel system, not just the injectors & increase ur fuel efficiency. Oh yes, l fill both with premium/super unleaded gas too. BIG difference all around in performance & fuel efficiency.
