What is the normal ammount of money nowadays that fills upan entire tank of gas for this car? I am thinking about buying one but l do not wanna pay too much for gas since it is a v6.

It is got 93k miles on it and nothing else is wrong with it and he is charging $2500 (hes my uncle). The bluebook price is $3900 so it is a good deal and all but l do not wanna pay so much for gas cause l might not be able to afford it.

THE 3.0 V-6 IS A VERY GOOD ENGINE , MY 98 TAURUS GOT 25 - 28 MPG , THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT THAT ENGINE , AT 116,000 l HAD A OXYGEN SENSOR GO OUT , WHICH IS NOT A BIG DEAL , COMMON ON ANY CAR , NO RUST AND GOOD INTERIOR , l THINK 2500 IS A GOOD PRICE

l have a 1997 Taurus with 68000 miles a little old school teacher drives it to school, Yeah and l take care of it it has been a good car she loves it 25-30 dollars filled it and she drives two weeks on it but we go in my truck on weekends but its still goes good 3.0, just tuned up, could not wait to tune it up easy work on. hope this helps.

To start with that price is on the high side of good and for seconds yes they get crappy gas mileage for a car that size (25mpg). The biggest problem on those cars is the transmissions go ever 120k miles or less and cost about $3000 to fix, if your uncle has never replaced the transmission yet it will definitly need replacing very soon.
