wat infprmation does anyone knw about a 2001 mercury sable 4door

Its the same car as a 2001 Ford Taurus, comes from the same assembly line & is dressed as a Mercury instead of a Ford. Fairly reliable transportation, good feul mileage, no resale value. Perfect family car for a family on a budget, because u can buy them for a song & they will (with good maintenance) be fairly trouble free to 200,000 miles. After that its time to ditch the car & buy another with fewer miles.

The Ford Taurus & the Mercury Sable were Ford Motor Companies best selling cars for many years, may still be. The earlier models from the late 80s & early 90s had a chronic transmission problem that Im confident was fixed with the later models. Without seeing this particular Car l cannot tell u anything more, take a good test drive & ask a lot of questions.

Oh, BTW, the resale value is lower because there r a billion of these cars on the road, the term a dime a dozen comes to mind.
