When l turn the switch on the dash to make the air come in, it only comes in through the defrost.It wo not blow out of the vents or come in through the floor.l was told it probably was a vacuum hose that was disconnected or cracked some where. Any one have anyon where the vacuum pump for the vent switch is?

check the one way vacuum valve located in engine compartment.on the right of the 2 heater hoses.suck on both ends to make sure it only allows intake manifold vacuum.also check all hoses on control for cracks leaks etc.the vacuum comes from engine to control heater doors.

The vacuum box is located on the right side under fender well, Also could be the blend door motor is bad, hope this helps.
