with so little fluid in the transmission l cant understand why the fluid wont enter the dip stick tube,and where the loss of transmission was comming from

l need more info on your problem like the year and is the engine running when you add the fluid .If so it could be a bad torque converter or front pump in-op also if it is old enough it can go in the modulator valve and the engine will burn it so you would not see where it goes

You were measuring the Tranny fluid with the car on - right?
