look on a tag somewhere on the rad . on top at the rad. cap or somewhere up there,but most llikely it is 134 and be sure not to mix it.it will be some kinda super mess... r12 is just about gone..

It uses R-134A.

It uses R134, And easy to install just be careful make sure it is fully seated on the line while Freon is entering the system shake the can and then hold up side down toward hose this lets all Freon in to system,hope this helps

l would agree with 134A, but l do not agree to hold the can upside down while charging. This can leak to liquid refrigerant going directly into the compressor and Hydro locking it. Liquid is NOT compressible. It should be put on a pan of hot (To the touch,,not boiling) water right side up, and introduce gas not liquid into the system.
