it comes with a tac preinstalled but it doesnt have any redline on it and l dont think that it would go all the way to the 8 without blowing up..

Actual maximun engine RPM is, 2.0lit-7000. max hp 130 at 6000 RPM. 2.5lit-Max. permissible engine speed, continuous rpm 6700, Max. permissible engine speed, intermittent rpm 6925. That means when you go past 6700, the computer will limit RPM at 6925. The 2.5lit engine produces 170hp6250, SVT engine rated at 205hp6700.

You will feel the power drop after 6700rpm. No need to push it past then anyway. Just get the feel for it and try to stay in the power band, it ends before the redline.
