This cable is sqeaking - l think it is the cable, and not a wheel bearing since it has been squeaking on and off for over a year.Thank you!
There is a squeak somewhere under the hood.l can hear it with the windows rolled down, but otherwise not.If l had to guess, l would say it is more on the passenger side of the car than the driver is side.It gets faster as l accelerate. It also disappears sometimes; l have noticed that l may not hear it when the weather is cold.Thank you all for your help!

Find your cruse control module, Follow it to the inlet to your pletum ,There will be a cover over it remove cover yo will find speedometer, Remove and apply lube or replace, Same if you have a floor shift, good luck

Step one.. No cable. this model (since 1996) is all electronic

The squeak can be a million different things.. you did not say from where. there is one annoying squeak that usually comes that sounds like it is behind the drivers dash board but is actually outside on the motor.. called a camshaft synchronizer. The bearing goes bad and can cause a god awful squeak .
