l never seen such a car with such a lousey tranny and throttle and on and on and on. check engine light stay on no matter how many parts l install..........sheesh

l have owned many Fords & have found that most of them r not worth a sh*t..Mustangs (8 cyl only) & thier trucks r good..but still alot of maintenance.. l have owned all kinds of vehicles over the course of my life & nothing compares to a Toyota..parts r a little higher but that is not a problem considering they do not give u much trouble.. l am a red blooded american & would love to buy amercan but the quality just is not there. l just can not justify spending that much money on a vehicle that is not going to last me long..i have a 78 toyota hilux..it still runs like a champ..all i've had to do to it in the last four years is change the oil & brakes.the freaking air conditioner still works & everything..mind u this was my husbands work truck & not really taken care of properly. Dude trust me...first opportunity u get ..DITCH THE FORD!! Good luck.

Yes,and the '94 Ford Taurus. BTW The Edsel was a very good car-- it was just ahead of its time and a marketing flop,but a good car none the less..As far as Toyotas go,all l ever had to do was tune ups and oil changes and they last forever.

Yep. Pretty much! Only thing worse is an escort or a Yugo. Maybe you need a different mechanic. Open the dash and take the check engine light bulb out and see how it does. Just might cure it.

Nope, the 1980-81 X-bodies made by General Motors (Chevrolet Citation, Pontiac Phoenix, Buick Skylark and Oldsmobile Omega) were the worst cars ever built, only a very few of those are still on the road.

The same can be said of ANY 13 year old vehicle if it has not been maintained properly.
