u might want to get the book for this one. l am looking at the haynes for up to 1998 mv and u have to follow a certain order for tightening the bolts. along with the order, u have to toque them a given amount each time until max is reached which is between 40 and 45 . my advice is go to dealership. they will give u a printout of how to do this from their manual. good luck. btw. l have a 1999 mv too. just had to replace the distributor. let me know how your engine job turns out. rob
