l have a old car ,one Ford Mercury ,but l can not de brakes make clane ,i downt no how l most remove the Tinnerman brakes by the rear drums

Tinnerman nuts are only used on the assembly line to keep the drums from falling off before the wheels are attached. They should have been removed the first time the brakes were serviced.

You can just cut them off with a pair of diagonals.

They are also called Pal nuts.Ya just grap them with diagonal cutters and cut them off
