could somone please tell me how to program a remote keyless fob for my 2006 mercury grand marquis

l have purchased a new fob but the dealer did not have timetoprogram it today.

Put the key in the ignition. While pressing the lock button on the fob, turn the key on and off several times(do not start the car) until the doors lock. When that happens, the key fob is programmed.

l suggest that u download & save the manual, but more importantly, READ it.

l certainly cannot believe that a dealer does not have ''time'' to program a remote. It takes less than 2 minutes! I've done it hundreds of times for my customers!
(Damn! u need a better salesperson! One more like me! LOL!)

Turn the key off and on 4 times leaving the key in the on position, wait for doors to lock and unlock, press one button on the remote, wait for doors to lock and unlock, turn off key, then try it.
