Take it to the Ford dealer.

Take a look at the fuse. For some reason the PCM is not seeing the input from the Cruise switch. l agree that if it has less than the 36K take it in. That is what warranty is for.

IF ONE OF THE BRAKE LIGHTS IS BURNED OUT IT WILL CAUSE A DISFUNCTIOAL CRUISE CONTROL. CHECK FOR A BURNT BULB.

Either the cut off switch, servo, or the cable is broken or disconnected from throttle body

A number of things can cause this. Take it in and have it repaired. l would think it will be covered under warranty.
