Where is the CD player located on a mercury sable 1999? please be specific?

press eject button and see where the cd comes out

Dashboard. More specifically, to the right of your steering wheel, and to the left of the passenger seat. Also located below the windsheild.

The Cassette which holds the CDs is located in the trunk if it is a sedan or in the compartment on the right rear of the back by the liftgate if it is a wagon. The control unit for the radio/cd/etc is behind the spare tire & the tuner itself is the only thing located in the dash! It was an odd setup between 96-99, but the guys above r probably wrong, as l do not believe they had a single cd player in those years, just the deck. Check ur owners' manual, it should give u the exact location which may be slightly off from where l am telling u - but not by much!
