My Mom is driving a 2000 Mercury Sable and she will probably need a new car very soon. What is the new one like?Do you know anything about it is safety rating? It looks more boxed shaped than the older models, is that true?Do you know the price range? And also, do you know anything about the Ford Fusion (price, safety rating, looks, etc...)?Thanks for any info.

The 08 Ford Fusion has a great safety rating and even has optional 4 wheel drive. My father has an 06 model and has had no problems what-so ever. $25,900-$34,999 The red looks the best with all the crome on the car

The 2008 Mercury Sable, along with the 2008 Ford Taurus, were rated the safest full sized sedans in America. It starts at $23,540, & can range from up to maybe $33,000-$35,000. It also has best in class overall space (leg room, hip room, head space, ect.) & best in class trunk area. It really is a great vehicle. Check out the specs, pictures, & options here http://mercuryvehicles.com/sable/

Also, the Fusion is a great alternative. It is one of the safest vehicles in it is class, has best in class AWD, handling, & style. It also scored as the second most reliable car in its class, which came to a very close call to the Honda Accord. Check it out here http://fordvehicles.com/cars/fusion/
