sounds like fuel pump or fuel filter. by the way before that try loosening the gas cap for a day or so and see if that helps. If so replace the gas cap

Replace the fuel filter and put some gas stabilizer in the tank and see if that helps you might have a little water in there. hope this helps.

look like a vacuum leak,..,IF it only dies on idle after it warm s up,,,
the reason is ,when cold, more gas is put on the engine so even if you have a leak it is conpensated by more gas,,and doesnt dies out ,,,,but when it get hot less gas goes in and more air(leak)so it dies on idle or when your on stop sign.

Next time tell us what engine u have. l think u should first open the the hood, then get it the car, & with ur foot on the brake pedal, shift from neutral to drive, & see if the engine raises up an inch or so. If it does, you've probably got a broken motor mount; that is my problem right now, & l believe it is faking the computer into setting a false trouble code. If it looks okay, put it in Park, & try to diagnose any vacuum leaks by looking for vacuum lines that have disconnected, or listening for a hissing sound. It might help to perform a Key On Engine Run scan of the ECU. I've got an '89 Taurus LX wagon & I've picked up two KOER codes, & my check engine light was not on. If u could be more descriptive of ur symptoms, we might be able to narrow it down better.
