l have a 92 Mercury Sable with keyless entry in the drivers door but the factory code wont work, help please???? I am not sure if there is a way to reset the module or what but when l enter the code it doesnt do anything at all. Can l reset it by unhooking the battery or something? and if that doesnt work then what??

anyway, one answer. Call the dealer. Codes are only accessible by them for anti-theft reasons.

You need to take the vehicle to a dealers service dept., and have a technician evaluate the problem. These key-less entry code bars are notorious for failure, and recently reported on national news, cars with these key-less code bars are easier to break into by thieves. Use the key, it is less expensive and harder to break into by thieves.

Probably have a button worn or stuck on the keypad

check and make sure you are using the right code, if it is broke you have to replace it. you might find one at pick apart used, just get the code off the car too.
