How do I remove a factory Radio/cassette system from a 95 Mercury Cougar

on the left and right of the radio are 2 holes. You will need to get a special tool from Ford to remove the radio.

Mercury is a Ford product so.



. use a big sledgehammer.

there are two holes on each side of the unit there is a ushaped tool u need to use to take uot the unit u can get this tool at any auto parts store or at walmart in the automotive section u slip tools in the holes and pry outward with the tools to release the clips and pull out unit with the tools

put a nail in each hole then squeeze together and then pull out

DIN tools, you can get them at walmart,, look like little horseshoes.
