about 4 and a 1/2

it probly has a an 8 cyl,302 ci,5 sounds right,az boys might have been figuring the 1/2 quart residual in the engine after the old oil was removed.

depending on wether or not its a 6 cyl or a 4 cyl. If 4 cyl than 4 qts if six 4- 5 check oil after dumping in the forth. Let it settle for about fifteen minutes. Check your owners manual if you still have it. Dont be afraid to ask a mechanic. They look real mean, but they mean to help you.

It all depends on the engine size so check your owners manual it will tell you and first you need to determine the size of engine you have and its not a 302 they stopped making them back in the mid 90's.

2.0 4 Cyl. takes 4 1/2 qts of oil
2.5 v-6 takes 5.5 quarts of oil
