Do your brake lights work? If not, you probably need a new brake light switch. Either that, or your brake shift interlock solenoid has failed, causing the vehicle to be stuck in the Park position. Hope this helps.

l own a repair shop,and if this car has the lock out safety feature on it,,its operated by an electrical switch,,it may have blown a fuse for it,,look in the fuse box ,for a fuse marked shift,,or the owners manual might give better details on which one it is,,other than that it might have slipped loose on the linkage for it,,and there is one other thing that happens to those also,,you can park it on a hill & sometimes it will cause it to be really hard to get out of park,,other than that it may have come loose in the transmission,,good luck l hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.
