99 Mercury Cougar, need to know if this is a good car or not

Have it looked at by a very reputible mechanic. And pay for the most in mechanic inspection, plus get a car fax. If it all checks you should be safe. All things said it was a fairly decent car to begin with.

l know that you are asking about a 1999 Cougar, but anyways, we have a 2000 Cougar with very low mileage, and it seems to have alot of problems.. l agree with the other posts, you should have it checked out by a reputable mechanic before buying it.. Good Luck!
