Am about to buy a brand new ford mercury 15000k 10500dlrs. How good of a car ford mercury is??
Am not sure cuz l did not pay attention to that but l think its a mercury sable 2005 15,000 kfor 10,500

depending on the model. focus, not bad. crown vic not bad, mustang not too good, pick-up truck, either way.

Ford does not make a car called a Mercury. There is a car brand called Mercury (owned by Ford) that makes several models of cars, such as the Monarch, Sable, Topaz, Montego, ect.

l may not be a good yardstick, but years ago l bought a Mercury Capri to pick up chicks. It was a real headache. The inside definition of FORD is Found Off Road Dead. If l were you I'd buy a Toyota. Its much more reliable.

$10,500 is kinda low, so check for damage at carfax.com l would expect to pay about $2000 to $3000 more. This is not a bad sedan, The only problem may be a fuel pump problem but if it goes bad it is about $200 to fix. Overall a good car.

l would not buy a ford inless l liked working on it all the time and putting alot of money into it .like replacing transmissions heads and headgaskets. id go for a chevy or a honda

Look at a Chevy Impala from '06-'07. Heres why: Last year Toyota had the most recalls, but the media ''failed'' to notice since millions would stand against them because of thier reputation. These days reputation is nothing, technology advances so fast it cant keep up. For ex: three years ago GM was one of the worst companies, now they have the most top-rated vehicles, & the quality/reliability surpasses Toyota. Honda is still on top of the reliability ratings. Ford also had more recalls than GM & DaimlerChrysler combined, for reasons like exploding engines & wheels falling off. Here is a quote from the Washington Posts review of the Toyota CAmry ''one of which is the Chevrolet Malibu, which in my real-world driving experience has been every bit as good & reliable as the much-ballyhooed Camry but has been maligned primarily because it is a Chevrolet''. Oddly enough that was an '04 Malibu VS the totally redisigned '07 Camry. Common problems with Toyotas r plastic rattling until it falls off. GM is one of the best car companies out there, and i'm glad i'm not the only one who has noticed toyota is ''superior quality'' is starting to plummit.as for your car..i'd get it after you check it out on carfax.com and make sure it has not been wrecked. they're not bad cars.

Mercury is a good company. They are owned by Ford and have there own dealers and maintance factories to offer service. Mercury is a luxury offshoot and are built better than most ford cars in my opinion because they dont seem to contain the factory defects that seem to be popping up more often. l reccomend Mercury for building safe and reliable cars.
